Mother and Daughter

Today's post features a card made by my daughter.  She is also responsible for the photography (may just have to hire her!)  Though the photo doesn't show it the apple paper is foiled.  She fell in love with it and this is the result!  The apple centrepiece was created by first cutting a circle then she shaped it freehand and sponged the edges with ink.  The stalk and leaf were cut freehand. This whole image was then popped up on the centre panel.

Supplies:
Card -
Paper - old olive and rich razzleberry c/s from SU, all other paper from Kaisercraft "Hey Birdie"
Ink - rich razzleberry
Tools - small circle template, sponge dauber
Adhesive - snail, dimensionals

This is a small square card - not my usual C6.  Good to get out of your comfort zone occasionally! I cut the edges of the card with a pair of deckle scissors.  The white panel is distressed and then sponged with pink ink on the edges. The pink panel is just sponged on the edges with chocolate chip.

Supplies:
Card -
Paper - whisper white c/s from SU, brown and pink c/s from stash.
Ink - pink chalk, chocolate chip from SU
Tools - deckle scissors, distressing tool from SU, sponge daubers
Other - American crafts ribbon from stash, tiles from stash (francheville I think)
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip, dimensionals

I am so proud of my daughter and it's great to have another thing to share - other than sci-fi!

Happy crafting!
Cheers
Susie
