More chocolate cards

Here are a trio of chocolate cards for your enjoyment.  This first one says "so much chocolate .. so little time" I coloured the word chocolate with a SU marker. The sentiment panel was stamped then punched out with a extra large oval punch from SU. Then I punched out two decorative labels and cut them in half and layered them on the back. The whole panel is popped.

Supplies:
Paper - whisper white, old olive and bashful blue c/s from SU, Kaisercraft scraps
Stamp - "eat chocolate" from SU
Ink - chocolate chip stamp pad from SU, old olive marker from SU
Tools - extra large oval punch and decorative label punch from SU
Other - tiny twine from Craft Queen
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip, dimensionals

This one uses some Kaisercraft die cuts. The arrow is popped.

Supplies:
Paper - choclate chip, pear pizzaz and very vanilla c/s from SU, Kaisercraft die cuts and scraps
Stamp - "eat chocolate" by SU
Ink - chocolate chip stamp pad from SU
Adhesive - snail, dimensionals

Last one -  and it has my favourite sentiment of them all. "I would give up chocolate but I'm no quitter".  The sentiment is popped.

Supplies:
Paper - chocolate chip and very vanilla c/s from SU, Kaisercraft scraps
Stamp - "eat chocolate" from SU
Ink - chocolate chip stamp pad from SU
Tools - decorative label punch from SU
Adhesive - snail, dimensionals

Hope you are having a good weekend - with some crafting time of course!

Happy crafting!

Eat chocolate

That's an order!! (Hah hah)  It's actually the name of a cute chocolate themed set from SU. I am a firm believer in the restorative powers of chocolate and just had to have this set when it came out.  The sentiment on this one reads - " all you need in life is a friend who has chocolate... I am that friend"

Supplies:
Paper - very vanilla, bashful blue and chocolate chip c/s from SU, some Kaisercraft scraps.
Stamp - "eat chocolate" by SU
Ink - chocolate chip (what else!!) from SU
Adhesive - snail, dimensionals

I have made some other chocolate themed cards so I will post them over the next couple of days. The sad situation is I am officially out of chocolate.  Will have to rectify that situation when I do the groceries tomorrow!  Also out of coffee.  Not quite crawling the walls yet!

Happy crafting!

Scrapturday #15 - 2012

Sorry this is so late. With the kids being away and being ill my schedule has gone totally out the window!!  I made these little gift bags a while ago but didn't post them as I had other things scheduled but Tah Dah -  here they are.  They use the fancy favour die from Stampin' Up (SU).

Supplies:
Paper - rich razzleberry c/s from SU, "cottage garden"  DSP from SU
Tools - Big Shot, fancy favour die by Sizzix for SU, large scallop scissors, single hole punch
Other - paper rose from Kaisercraft, certainly celery taffeta ribbon from SU
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip, large zot

On this one you can see the lovely decorative edge along the top.

Supplies:
Paper - pink pirouette and bashful blue c/s from SU. Nit Wit DSP
Tools - Big Shot, fancy favour die by Sizzix for SU, square punch from CM, single hole punch
Other - loopy fabric flower on a peg from Bed Bath and Table, spotted ribbon from Spotlight
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip

Only another week and a half to go til I will get to hear all about the kids big trip.  They have sent me snippets in emails and posted some pictures on Facebook but it's not the same as hearing about it all first hand.  The most difficult part about them being away is cooking for one.  I love "providing" but struggle when it's just me to provide for. Mmmmm - what does that say!  Maybe I don't want to know!!  Hope you are having a good day.

Happy crafting!

Love you just the way you are

Love this sentiment, and try to tell it to my kids as often as possible!

Supplies:
Paper - riding hood red, whisper white and brushed silver from SU, "shaken not stirred" DSP from Kaisercraft
Stamp - "sprinkled expressions" from SU
Ink - poppy parade stamp pad from SU
Tools - decorative label punch from SU
Adhesive - snail, dimensionals

It's absolutely pouring here.  Some streets are flooded and getting around on public transport is a miserable wet affair. Am rearranging the deck chairs rather than crafting - tidying and re-organising my stash!  Have to get into it though as I have some orders to fill.  Am missing the kids like crazy and can't get inspired to cook - really not inspired to eat even.  But I can't live on cheese sandwiches for three and a half weeks so I had better get my butt into gear!  Hope the weather is nice where you are.

Happy crafting!

Scrapturday # 14 - 2012

Back to using up every scrap of "everyday enchantment"!  Today I had some small pieces that were just the right size for my SU circle punch.  I also scored the card for some textural interest.  The centre circle is popped.

Supplies:
Paper - very vanilla c/s from SU, "everyday enchantment" DSP from SU
Stamp - "happiest birthday" from SU
Ink - poppy parade stamp pad from SU
Tools - circle punch from SU, Martha Stewart score board
Other - "victoria" crochet trim from SU, thin organza ribbon from SU
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip, dimensionals

Heard from the kids today - they are having a fabulous time in New York.  Their hotel is very near to Times Square so they are right in the thick of it.  I have never been to New York so I am looking forward to seeing their photos and hearing all about it.  I have markets the next two days so I shall be quite busy.  Hope you have had a good weekend.

Happy crafting!

Today's card is a happy one.  I love the sentiment and if it doesn't sell at the markets in the next couple of weeks I know someone who deserves it.  They are away on holidays at the moment too but they do make me smile all over my face when I see them!

Mothers day butterfly

Mothers Day is fast approaching so I thought I would show you a card I made at a recent Stamp and Scrap club day.  The butterfly was generously given to me by one of the other participants Beverly, and this paper from Kaisercraft went with it perfectly.  The die cut trim and sentiment panel came from the same paper pack

Supplies:
Paper - certainly celery and blushing bride c/s from SU, "english rose" DSP from Kaisercraft
Stamp - "teeny tiny sentiments" from SU
Ink - old olive stamp pad from SU
Other - "victoria" crochet trim from SU, die cut butterfly - donated, pink Kaisercraft pearls
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip, glue dots, dimensionals

Have had a very light week as far as crafting goes. Am going to do some this afternoon as both children out with their friends.  Hope you have a happy and peaceful Easter break and if on the roads - a safe time.

Happy crafting!
Cheers

Candy wrapper die

Here are some cute little boxes I made using the candy wrapper die from SU.  It's the perfect size for some earrings, a necklace or some chocolates or lollies (candy).  It would also be a perfect party favour.  It was in the summer mini so is no longer available but you can hope it will be in the new catalogue out later this year.

Supplies:
Paper - elegant eggplant, baja breeze and lucky limeade c/s from SU, "cheerful treat" DSP from SU, Kaisercraft scraps
Tools - Big Shot, candy wrapper die from SU
Adhesive - sticky strip, double sided tape

Nearly Easter - bring on the chocolate!!

Happy crafting!

Boy birthday

Hello.  Today I have a card suitable for a boy's birthday using some freebie stamps from a magazine.  I think the set is called "surfs up" and came from either Australian Papercrafts or Australian Simply Cards magazine.  I stamped a scene then hand coloured it before matting it on co-ordinating cardstock.

Supplies:
Paper - not quite navy, lucky limeade and whisper white c/s from SU
Stamp - "surfs up" a magazine freebie, "happiest birthday" from SU
Ink - basic black, tempting turquoise and not quite navy stamp pads from SU, various Tombow and SU markers
Other - ribbon from Craft Queen
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip

Happy crafting!
