A birthday card for a male in your life can be a tricky proposition because the usual go to's of ribbon and bling are not required! Today I used a background stamp and fussy cutting to create a card that would suit an older person. The sentiment reads - not just a year older but a year wiser.
Supplies:
Paper - soft suede c/s from SU, "timeless vintage" from Kaisercraft
Stamp - "wonderfully worn" (background) and "bring on the cake" from SU
Ink - early espresso from SU
Adhesive - snail, dimensionals
I have quite a bit of re-stocking to do before the next markets in two weeks so it's all systems go at the craft table! I also want to make some items for Easter giving using some Sizzix dies and Creative Memories cutting systems. Will post my adventures at a later date.
Raining again so it's inside time for the dog and I. He is starting to get a bit cabin fevery - our walks are fast - in between the showers! He likes to dawdle and sniff all the "pee-mails" but I have been hurrying him up so he feels a little gyped! The long range forecast is for rain til next thursday so he will just have to lump it!
