same paper - 2 ways

This is an example of how you can change it up without changing the paper.  The paper used is from a 6x6 pad from Prima Marketing called "Paisley Road".  I covered the card stock base in the turquoise paper then cut the scallop patterned paper to fit.  It is a doily shape on orange so I cut it with a border of the orange.  Next I coloured  the dots of the pattern with a matching turquoise Tombow marker and added pearls to the centres of the flowers. I fixed a dotty orange ribbon with a knot tied around it to the top third of the card.  I hand oloured a stamp sentiment in co-ordinating Tombow markers and punched it out.  its stuck flat on the card and has a pearl on it.  The envelope is decorated with leftover paper scraps.

Supplies:

Card -
Paper - white card stock, Prima "paisley road" DSP
Stamp - Tiny tags from SU
Ink - Tombow markers in turquoise and orange
Ribbon - American crafts (from stash)
Tools - Tiny tags punch from SU
Other - SU pearls
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip

Envelope -
White envelope, Prima paper, large scallop scissors by Fiskars, snail

The next card uses the same paper but has a different effect.  This time I stamped the base card stock with versa mark to create a watermark pattern.  I trimmed the motif from the paper but omitted the orange.  I added a brown rub on after colouring the motif with a yellow Tombow and a blender pen.  Across the bottom of the card I secured a piece of yellow velvet ribbon with a "diamante" buckle.  The envelope was stamped with the same stamp as the watermark on the card.
