Vintage Tulips

Had to spend hours at a sporting field yesterday so I lashed out and bought a magazine that I normally don't get.  It had some free papers and so this is what I came up with.  No CAS today as I went vintage.

Card 1: Layering and fussy cutting!  The tulip images are fussy cut, popped up and edged with kindyglitz. The lace piece is threaded with a thin satin ribbon.  The magazine was Simply Cards Australian edition.

Supplies:
Card -
Paper - apricot Co'oredinations basics, "serif" freebie paper from Simply Cards
Other - Kindyglitz "crystalina", scrap of lace and satin ribbon from stash, Kaisercraft silver rhinestones
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip, dimensionals, tiny foam dots

Card 2: Layering and fussy cutting again but also distressing and sponging. The green centre panel is also stamped with Versamark.  The distressed edges, the green panel edges and the whole of the tulip are sponged with chalk.  The tulip and the centre panel are popped up.

Supplies:
Card -
Paper - both green c/s from stash, red textured c/s from stash, "serif" freebie from Simply Cards
Stamp - vine flourish from "fresh cuts" by SU
Ink - Versamark, soft suede chalk from SU
Tools - sponge dauber, distressing tool from SU
Other - lace trim from SU, Maria George trinket pins
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip, dimensionals

Hope you like my interpretations of vintage.  Off for more sporting duties today. Think I will take a book this time.

Happy crafting!
Cheers
Susie
