Tried two different types of border today. One is a border punch and the other is an embossed border that I fussy cut. Both cards are CAS today.
Card 1: The buttons are threaded with slivers of card stock.
Supplies:
Card -
Paper - elegant eggplant and whisper white c/s from SU, Kaisercraft "la-di-da" DSP
Tools - heart border punch from Fiskars
Other - buttons from stash, elegant eggplant ribbon from SU, Kaisercraft light green rhinestones
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip, glue dots
Card 2: This border is a Cuttlebug one and I fussy cut it after embossing.
Supplies:
Card -
Paper - red c/s from stash, whisper white c/s from SU, Kaisercraft "la-di-da" DSP
Tools - Cuttlebug and borders embossing folder
Other - heart from stash, stripy ribbon from Bed Bath and Table, Kaisercraft snow pearls
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip, dimensionals
Scrap and stamp club yesterday was heaps of fun. Got 3 cards made in 2 hours - pretty good for me! My daughter also made some cards. If she'll let me I will show you tomorrow. They were Christmas cards for the troops. It's an initiative of Paper Lady (see side bar for link) and we send blank handmade cards to the overseas posted troops so they can send a personal greeting to their family. You might think it's a bit early for Christmas cards but the idea is to do a few a month and by October we'll have heaps and no-one has had to stress out!!
