Today's theme is spots and dots! The paper is a Kaisercraft 6x6 pad called "After five". very versatile and lovely elegant colour scheme. I have used different embellishments on each one, a little bit of sponging and some fussy cutting.
Card 1: very simple and CAS. Minimal layering and a line of tonal buttons. One of the buttons I threaded with some c/s and then curled the tails with a pencil - probably try a skewer next time as it's not as curly as I wanted.
Supplies:
Card-
Paper - whisper white c/s from SU, DSP is Kaisercraft "after five"
Other - various buttons from stash, cream ribbon rose and cream organza bow from stash
Adhesive - snail, glue dots
Card 2: The striped panel is layered onto yellow c/s then popped up on the card front. The edges of the card are sponged with chalk. I was in two minds whether to add a sentiment but decided in the end to leave it plain - but really I could have gone either way!
Supplies:
Card -
Paper - whisper white c/s from SU, yellow c/s from stash, Kaisercraft "after five' DSP
Ink - yellow generic chalk
Tools - sponge dauber
Other - organza ribbon from SU, Prima flowers, Kaisercraft snow paper rose, Kaisercraft yellow flowers, Prima leaves, Kaisercraft latte pearls
Adhesive - snail, dimensionals, sticky strip, large zots
Card 3: Buttons again - some one offs that I got in a variety pack. The edges of the white scallop panel and the card are sponged. The scallop panel was layered onto a scrap of DSP then fussy cut. It was then popped up on top of the ribbon. The stem was stamped on scrap c/s and fussy cut. The bow was tied separately and adhered with a glue dot.
Supplies:
Card -
Paper - whisper white c/s from SU, Kaisercraft "after five" DSP
Stamp - sentiment is from "baroque motifs" and flower stem is from "live like you mean it" from SU
Ink - rich razzleberry, old olive and blushing bride from SU
Tools - scallop oval punch from SU, sponge dauber
Other - pale pink ribbon from Spotlight, buttons from stash, Kaisercraft snow pearl
Adhesive - snail, sticky strip, glue dot, dimensionals
Winter has well and truly arrived here - but we have it easy, even at our worst, compared to the northern hemisphere! Dug out my red suede boots for the first time.
Happy crafting!
Cheers
Susie
