cards for the troops

My friend Karen of Paper Lady has a project each year to send handmade cards to Aussie troops posted overseas so they can send a christmas message home to their loved ones.  It's a very worthwhile project and the troops are so appreciative because obviously the places they are posted don't really have a lot of shops for popping down to to pick up a card to send home!!  If you want to get on board then contact Karen through her blog - www.kcpaperlady.blogspot.com.  Here are some that I have been working on the last couple of sundays.  I have decided to make sunday Christmas card day.  Today's challenge was to use some papers that I got as part of a magazine purchase.  Non-traditional colours but still festive!
